Singing for All Life

Compassion Chorus is a new program from Compassion Arts that uses the power of voices united in song to cultivate humane education through music. Under the musical direction of Kala Farnham and led by Compassion Arts founder Ellie Sarty, the chorus performs songs in celebration of peace, love, and understanding, with a focus on compassion for animals and the human-animal bond.

Join us for the chorus’ debut concert to hear a selection of contemporary songs in inspiring original arrangements, including “What's So Funny About Peace, Love, and Understanding” (Elvis Costello), “Fly On” (Cold Play), “The Dog Song” (Nellie McKay), and others by Nora Jones, Stevie Wonder, Sheryl Crow, Tracey Bonham, Brian Setzer, The Who, and more.

Proceeds will support the continued development of our small but growing chorus and help us bring the chorus to perform at events that benefit organizations and projects that directly help animals.

Tickets cost $20.
